This event was originated in 2016 under the name The Portrait Project by photographer Priscilla Gragg. On a mission to raise money to buy toys to children in need during the holidays, Priscilla and her team of creatives were able to donate over one thousand toys in the past 4 years! For 2020, TPP is moving to a new casa.
Casa Studio. will be home for TPP, hosting the event in the fall, along with a small handful of very special photo events during the year.
In order to offer photo sessions safely during the pandemic, a few changes had to be made. Our crew will be reduced to a bare minimum. All will be required to wear masks, the only time kids can remove their masks is at photo time. We will have a hand sanitizing station and all must clean hands before entering location. Families won't share the same hour for photo shoots any longer. When you come for your session, your family is the only one on set. We will reserve a few minutes in between sessions in order to disinfect and reset the studio space. Images to be selected by parents via Zoom call scheduled at a later time. No catering will be provided during the pandemic. Our space is not enclosed and has great air circulation. Families will be asked to prep their kids ahead of time and show up for the session camera ready. Instructions for wardrobe, hair and skin care will be sent to parents ahead of time.
Each session includes 3 high resolution images. Extra images cost $35 each. You must purchase one session per child. If you have more than one child, please make sure you select slots at the same hour, for example 9am and 9:30am and so on.
100% of profits will go into purchasing toys to be donated to children of families in need and affected by the fires in California.
